How to Install Asus Zenfone 5 USB Drivers

1. Download and extract the ASUS Drivers package on your computer.
2. Open the Device Manager on your computer by right-clicking Windows Start Button and selecting Device Manager.
3. Once the Device Manager window opens, click on your Computer name.
4. Now click on Action and then on Add legacy hardware.
5. Now Add Hardware Wizard window should pop-up. Click on Next to continue.
6. In the next screen, select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced) option and click on Next.
7. Now select Show All Devices and click on Next.
8. Now click on Have Disk… to open the Install From Disk window.
9. Click on Browse… and navigate to the folder where you have extracted the ASUS USB Drivers in Step #1.
10. Now select android_winusb.inf file from the Windows_XP_VISTA_7_8_8.1 folder and click on Open and then on OK.
11. Select the ASUS Android ADB Interface driver from the list and click on Next.
12. Confirm the Hardware driver to install and click on Next to begin the ASUS Android USB Driver installation process.
13. Once installed, click on Finish.
14. Follow Steps #3 to #13 again and install the ASUS Android Bootloader Interface driver, ASUS Android Composite ADB Interface driver, ASUS Android Composite PC Link Interface driver, and ASUS Android PC Link Interface driver.
15. Once all the listed drivers are installed, reboot your computer.

How to Install Asus Zenfone 5 USB Drivers Manually

1. Download the latest_usb_driver_windows.zip file on your computer and extract it on Desktop.
2. Open the Device Manager on your computer by searching device manager from Windows Start Menu.
3. Now click on your Computer name in the Device Manager window.
4. Now click on Action and then select Add legacy hardware.
5. Add Hardware Wizard window should open, click on Next to continue.
6. Now select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced) option and click on Next.
7. Select Show All Devices from the list and click on Next.
8. On the next screen, click on Have Disk… to open the Install From Disk window.

10. Now select android_winusb.inf file and click on Open and then on OK.
11. Select the Android ADB Interface driver from the list and click on Next.

14. Follow Steps #3 to #13 again and install the Android Bootloader Interface driver and Android Composite ADB Interface driver.
15. Once all the listed drivers are installed, restart your computer.

How to Install Asus Zenfone 5 ADB and Fastboot Drivers

1. Download and extract 15 seconds ADB installer on your computer.
2. Now right click on the adb driver installer setup file (adb-setup.exe) and click on Run as administrator.
3. Now a command prompt window with a blue background and white text should open.
4. It should ask whether you want to install ADB and Fastboot? Press the Y key on your keyboard and hit Enter.
5. Now, it should ask whether you want to install ADB system-wide? Again press the Y key and hit Enter.
6. Now, the ADB driver and Fastboot driver installation process should begin.
7. When finished, it should ask whether you want to install device drivers? Press the Y key and hit Enter.
8. Now the "Device Driver Installation Wizard" window should open.
9. Click on Next to continue installing the Google USB Drivers (WinUSB).
